Utila Island |

The island of Utila is located about 20 miles from the
west end of Roatan and can be reached by water or private plane.
It is a center for divers and backpackers and caters to the younger crowds much like the West End of Roatan. The main town is dotted with quaint tourist shops, pubs and dive centers. It is a unique, fun experience just to stroll the town and talk to locals and tourists alike. Every night is a party on Utila !! There is a fascinating double-lagoon to explore, leading towards the north side of the island. Away from the town the island offers quiet secluded anchorages and beautiful sunsets. |
